  9. I'm in for round 2! The rules mix right in with my way of life, anyway, and I really feel like I've begun to master my hair, this year. Can't wait to see how much growth I retain in round deux.

  10. I'm in too! After all that breakage that I just couldn't seem to shake, I hope this challenge will be better! Hair is already trimmed and in a full sew in for 4-6weeks so I guess I'm starting a little earlier!

  12. I'm in for another round. I actually never stopped protective styling after the last challenge ended in July. I just extended it through the end of year and gave myself another 2 weeks of free styling. As of today I am apl, I have regrown some hair that I thought was lost forever and my hair is so much stronger than I ever thought.

I just did my first flat iron in over 2 years and trimmed my edges so I'm ready for Januray.

    Let's do this ladies :)

  13. I'm in, I wanted to join the last challenge but I didn't because I just wasn't ready. Now I am and I should be good to go because I trimmed my hair last week so its nice and fresh.

  14. I'm in. I think this will be a great way to grow out my hair. I'm always doing search and destroys to get rid of split ends, but I usually end up cutting healthy hair. Anyway, I can't wait for the challenge to begin. I've already decided to start off with mini twists.

  20. I am in! I BC'd after 14 months and 3 weeks this May and have been protective styling ever since, except 1 flat ironing at Thanksgiving. This fits well with the challenge that I've made for myself for 2 years from my BC date of braids and twists. The water will be the hardest aspect for me too, but I am already building up to that amount of liquids.

  21. Ok I'm in...I now have my reason to get my hair into a protective style. I'm 5 months post BC so I need to do this and stop with the wash n go hair, the picked out fro and the twist out.. So when my 1 year anniversary is here on July 7th I will have a lot to celebrate.. Thanks for starting this Loo.

  22. I'm in! My hair's about 20 inches long (type 4!), but I've neglected it for 5 months since moving to a new city, so I'm gonna get back on track with and join you all; I'm also adding a step form myself where I'm cutting 3 inches off first (so a real CUT! as opposed to a nice trim!) Best wishes to all! I'm hoping this challenge will help me rid of my thoughts of cutting all my hair off--it's been on my mind for months (for real).

  23. I hope it’s ok if I join in ... I know I’m kind of late in posting but I just recently found your blog and fell in love with it. I put in twists on December 30th so I kind of made the deadline. My hair is about 3 inches long (I’m 5 months post BC). I am a college student at a school that usually has very cold and windy weather so protective styling is definitely at the top of my agenda.
    Thanks for hosting this Loo.
